The 6IX Center weight room in Columbus, Ohio

About 6IX Center

We built the room
we wanted to train in.

6IX Center is a weight room in Columbus, Ohio started by cousins Seth McCoy and Adam Hiles. We wanted a gym that feels like family: grungy enough to grind in, nice enough that your lifts look good on camera.

Cousins. Partners. Six years deep.

When covid shut everything down, we started filming basketball trickshots with nothing but a phone and a hoop.

That turned into the6ixshooter, a page that grew past 1M followers making basketball and lifting content. Thousands of hours of reps, filming, and failing on camera taught us exactly what a training space should feel like.

So we built it. 6IX Center is the gym we always wanted: a grungy room to grind in, clean enough to film in, and small enough that everybody knows your name.

What we stand on

Family first

We are cousins who have worked together for six years. The room runs like family.

Grungy but clean

A raw room built to grind in, kept nice enough that every set looks good on camera.

Built around athletes

Our layout came from coaching basketball players: lift heavy, move fast, recover hard.

If you are in Columbus and you are serious about lifting, stop by and train with us.
